Biography
Kenneth Ritter is a research assistant and graduate student at University of Louisiana (UL) in Lafayette, Louisiana. Ritter is working on a PhD in Systems Engineering with an expected graduation date in December, 2016. Ritter obtained a Masters of Science in Solar Energy Engineering from Högskolan Dalarna in Borlange, Sweden. At UL, Ritter has directed the creation of the Virtual Energy Center, an educational game using a scale CAD model of the Cleco Alternative Energy Research Center in Crowley, Louisiana. Ritter has experience with AutoCAD, Soidworks, Unity3D, and programming with C# and Javascript. Currently, Ritter is working to develop an immersive networked collaborative virtual reality environment for education about alternative energy technologies.
